Defender Rules

Defender is a three player game where on every hole, one player is the "Defender". The initial order is determined when the round starts and the Defender will rotate between players every hole.
When a player is the Defender, they must "defend" the hole and are trying to beat the other two players. If they succeed and have a lower score than each of the other two players, both players must pay the Defender DOUBLE the current skin(s) value. If the Defender ties either of the other two players for the best score, the hole is a push and the skin(s) carry over to the next hole. If one of the other two players beats the Defender, the Defender must pay both other players the current skin(s) value.
Traditionally the tee order on each hole just follows "honors". However each group can decide if they want to implement something different (Defender always tees off first/last, ..)
Examples: $2 Skin Value (per player)
1) On Hole 1, Player A is Defender and scores a 4. Player B scores a 5 and Player C scores a 6. Player A sucessfully defended the hole and wins $8 - $4 from Player B and $4 from Player C ($2 Skin which is doubled because the Defender won)
2) On Hole 1, Player A is Defender and scores a 5. Player B scores a 5 and Player C scores a 6. Player A tied for the best score so the hole is a push and Hole 2 has a Skin Value of $4.
3) On Hole 1, Player A is Defender and scores a 6. Player B scores a 5 and Player C scores a 6. Player A does not defend the hole and loses $4 (must pay $2 to Player B and $2 to Player C)
In addition to the Skins wagering, there are a number of add-on wagers that can be played.
If your group has any custom wagers they would like to implement, there is a Side Bet section on each round where you can enter any wager you like.
